The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he stood up hurriedly, dragging his garment, until he reached the mosque. The people gathered, and he prayed two units of prayer. When the eclipse cleared, he turned to us and said, "The sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah , by which He instills awe in His servants. They do not eclipse for the death of anyone."The narrator said, His son Ibrahim
had died."So if you see anything of this, pray and supplicate until what afflicts you is removed."
Its isnad is sahih. Rubai bin Ibrahim is a well-known trustworthy narrator, and he is the brother of Ismail bin Ulaya. The hadith has already appeared in brief at 1738.
