Abu Bakra reported,

The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he stood up hurriedly, dragging his garment, until he reached the mosque. The people gathered, and he prayed two units of prayer. When the eclipse cleared, he turned to us and said, "The sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah , by which He instills awe in His servants. They do not eclipse for the death of anyone."The narrator said, His son Ibrahim had died."So if you see anything of this, pray and supplicate until what afflicts you is removed."

عن أبي بكرة قال

كسفت الشمس على عهد رسول الله ﷺ فقام يجر ثوبه مستعجلا حتى أتى المسجد وثاب الناس فصلى ركعتين فجلي عنها ثم أقبل علينا فقال إن الشمس والقمر آيتان من آيات الله تبارك وتعالى يخوف بهما عباده ولا ينكسفان لموت أحد قال وكان ابنه إبراهيم عليه السلام مات فإذا رأيتم منهما شيئا فصلوا وادعوا حتى يكشف منهما ما بكم
