Abu Nadr, in his version of the report, said, Zuhayr narrated to me, Urwa bin Abdullah bin Qushayr Abu Mahl al-Jufi narrated to us, Muawiya bin Qurra narrated to me from his father, who said, I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a group of men from Mazina, and we pledged allegiance to him while the top of his shirt was unbuttoned. We pledged to him, then I slipped my hand into the opening of his shirt and touched the seal.Urwa said, I never saw Muawiya nor his son, meaning Iyas, in any winter or summer except with their garments at the chest left open, never buttoned up.

أبو النضر في حديثه حدثني زهير حدثنا عروة بن عبد الله بن قشير أبو مهل الجعفي حدثني معاوية بن قرة عن أبيه قال أتيت رسول الله ﷺ في رهط من مزينة فبايعناه وإن قميصه لمطلق قال فبايعناه ثم أدخلت يدي في جيب قميصه فمسست الخاتم قال عروة فما رأيت معاوية ولا ابنه قال وأراه يعني إياسا في شتاء قط ولا حر إلا مطلقي إزارهما لا يزران
