Mura Bahzi reported,

While we were with the Prophet of Allah ﷺ on one of the roads of Madinah, he said, "How will it be with you in a tribulation that erupts across the regions of the earth like the horns of cattle?"They asked, "What should we do, Prophet of Allah?"He replied, "Stay with this man and his companions," or, "Follow this man and his companions."The narrator said, I hurried forward until I came around to face the man and asked, "This one, Prophet of Allah?"He answered, "This one." And there he was, Uthman bin Affan .

حدثنا أبو أسامة قال أنبأنا كهمس حدثنا عبد الله بن شقيق حدثنا هرمي بن الحارث وأسامة بن خريم وكانا يغازيان فحدثاني حديثا ولا يشعر كل واحد منهما أن صاحبه حدثنيه

عن مرة البهزي قال

بينما نحن مع نبي الله ﷺ في طريق من طرق المدينة فقال كيف في فتنة تثور في أقطار الأرض كأنها صياصي بقر قالوا نصنع ماذا يا نبي الله قال عليكم هذا وأصحابه أو اتبعوا هذا وأصحابه قال فأسرعت حتى عطفت على الرجل فقلت هذا يا نبي الله قال هذا فإذا هو عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه
