I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The Hour will not come until entire tribes are swallowed up by the earth, so that it will be asked, 'Who is left of the tribe of so-and-so?'" I understood that he meant the Arabs, because the non-Arabs are identified by their villages.
