He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Whoever takes in an orphan of two Muslim parents, sharing his food and drink with him until the child becomes independent, Paradise is guaranteed for him without question. And whoever frees a Muslim person, that act will be his ransom from the Fire, with each limb of the freed person redeeming a corresponding limb of his own."
حدثنا هشيم قال علي بن زيد أخبرنا عن زرارة بن أوفى
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقول من ضم يتيما بين أبوين مسلمين إلى طعامه وشرابه حتى يستغني عنه وجبت له الجنة البتة ومن أعتق امرأ مسلما كان فكاكه من النار يجزى بكل عضو منه عضوا منه
