There was a dispute between two neighbors of Maqil bin Yasar, and the oath fell upon one of them. I heard Maqil bin Yasar say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever swears an oath by which he seizes the property of his brother will meet Allah while He is angry with him.'"

كان بين جارين لمعقل بن يسار كلام فصارت اليمين على أحدهما فسمعت معقل بن يسار يقول قال رسول الله ﷺ من حلف على يمين يقتطع بها مال أخيه لقي الله وهو عليه غضبان
