His nose was struck off on the Day of Kulab during the Jahiliyyah, and he mentioned a report similar to it.

Its isnad is hasan, because of Muhammad bin Tamim Nahshali. He said in Tajil, "He is among the additional narrators, Abdullah narrates from him, and the ruling on him is acceptance." However, the original wording we have for it is, "My father told me."
