Samura said, "I memorized two pauses during the prayer. One pause is when the imam says the opening takbir, before he begins reciting, and another pause is after he finishes reciting al-Fatihah and a surah, just before bowing."Imran bin Husayn objected to this, so they wrote to Ubayy in Madinah about the matter, and he confirmed what Samura had said.
