Ibn Sirin said to me, "I fashioned my sword after the sword of Samura, and Samura said, 'I fashioned my sword after the sword of the Prophet ﷺ,' and it was of the Hanafi style."
حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرنا
قال لي ابن سيرين صنعت سيفي على سيف سمرة وقال سمرة صنعت سيفي على سيف النبي ﷺ وكان حنفيا
Its chain of transmission is daif, because of Uthman bin Saad the scribe, whom they declared daif. Tirmidhi said about this hadith (4/197, no. 1683), "Gharib, and Yahya bin Saeed weakened him regarding his memory," in the Book of Jihad, in the chapter on what has been mentioned about the description of the sword of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
