The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever finds his property itself with someone else has the greater right to it, and the one who sold it to that buyer is to be pursued by the buyer for compensation."Yazid once said, "Whoever finds his property..."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا الحجاج بن أرطأة عن سعيد بن زيد بن عقبة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أصاب متاعه بعينه فهو أحق به ويتبع صاحبه من اشتراه منه وقال يزيد مرة من وجد متاعه
