Samura bin Jundab reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a large bowl filled with tharid, and the people kept eating from it in turns from morning until noon. Some would rise as others sat down to eat.A man asked him, "Was it being replenished?"He replied, "What are you marveling at? It was only being replenished from here," and he pointed to the sky.

أن رسول الله ﷺ أتي بقصعة فيها ثريد فتعاقبوها إلى الظهر من غدوة يقوم ناس ويقعد آخرون قال له رجل هل كانت تمد قال فمن أي شيء تعجب ما كانت تمد إلا من هاهنا وأشار إلى السماء
