Samura bin Jundab reported,

He stood up one day to deliver a sermon and mentioned a hadith in his address. He said, "While I and a boy from the Ansar were shooting at two targets of ours during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the sun rose and stood in the viewer's eye at the height of two spears." He then continued the hadith and said, "To proceed."He said, "Then he closed the tips of his fingers." Then he said, "or he stood up," I am again in doubt, but I memorized what he said. He did not place a single word before its proper position, nor did he delay anything from its place.Abu Awana said, "While I and a boy from the Ansar..." He also said, "It darkened until it returned." Abu Awana said, "Zawool," but Zawool is more correct.

عن سمرة بن جندب قال

قام يوما خطيبا فذكر في خطبته حديثا قال بينما أنا وغلام من الأنصار نرمي في غرضين لنا على عهد رسول الله ﷺ إذ طلعت الشمس فكانت في عين الناظر قيد رمحين وساق الحديث ثم قال أما بعد وقال ثم قبض أطراف أصابعه ثم قال أو قام أنا أشك مرة أخرى وقد حفظت ما قال قال فما قدم كلمة عن منزلتها ولا أخر شيئا وقد قال أبو عوانة بينما أنا وغلام من الأنصار وقال أيضا فاسودت حتى آضت وقد قال أبو عوانة زوول ولكنها زوول أصوب
