The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wear white garments, for they are purer and cleaner, and shroud your dead in them."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن سفيان حدثني حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن ميمون بن أبي شبيب
عن النبي ﷺ قال البسوا الثياب البيض فإنها أطهر وأطيب وكفنوا فيها موتاكم
Its isnad is sahih. Maymun bin Abu Shabib is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in the Sunan works and with Bukhari and Muslim outside their Sahih collections. The hadith was mentioned previously at 20016.
