The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Sam is the father of the Arabs, Yafith is the father of the Romans, and Ham is the father of the Abyssinians."Rawh said in Baghdad, from his memory, "Nuh had three sons, Sam, Ham, and Yafith."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال سام أبو العرب ويافث أبو الروم وحام أبو الحبش وقال روح ببغداد من حفظه ولد نوح ثلاثة سام وحام ويافث
