Its isnad is hasan. Saeed bin Bashir was a reliable memorizer whom scholars discussed regarding his memory, and some declared him daif, but they were not correct in that. Ibn Hajar did not verify the matter thoroughly and so declared him daif in Taqrib, while Dhahabi said in Kashif, "A memorizer whom they consider reliable." As for the accusation against him regarding Qadar, it was said to Abu Mushir, "Was Saeed bin Bashir a Qadari?" He said, "Allah forbid."
