The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Nobility lies in wealth, and honor lies in piety."
حدثنا يونس بن محمد حدثنا سلام بن أبي مطيع عن قتادة عن الحسن
قال رسول الله ﷺ الحسب المال والكرم التقوى
Its isnad is hasan, because of Sallam bin Abu Mutee, who is reliable and his hadith appears in the Sahihayn, but there is some criticism regarding his hadith from Qatada. The hadith was narrated by Tirmidhi 5/390, no. 3271, in the tafsir of Surah Hujurat, where he said, hasan sahih ghareeb. Also by Ibn Majah 2/1410, no. 4219. Hakim graded it sahih 2/163, and Dhahabi agreed with him, and Bayhaqi 7/136.
