The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the two Eid prayers "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" [Ala 87:1] and "Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming Event?" [Ghashiyah 88:1].
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر أخبرنا شعبة وحجاج قال حدثني شعبة قال سمعت معبد بن خالد يحدث عن زيد بن عقبة
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقرأ في العيدين بسبح اسم ربك الأعلى وهل أتاك حديث الغاشية
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Mabad bin Khalid is al-Jadali, and Zayd bin Uqbah al-Fazari, both of them are reliable narrators whose hadiths appear in Sahih Muslim. The hadith was mentioned previously at 18343 and 18322.
