The Prophet of Allah ﷺ came upon a waterskin on the day of Hunayn and asked for water from it. A woman was there, and she said that the skin was from a dead animal.He said, "Ask her, has it not been tanned?"She replied, "Yes."So he used it for his need and said, "The tanning of a hide is its purification."
