Imran bin Husayn reported,

He reported to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Your brother Najashi has passed away, so pray over him."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then formed a row, and we lined up in rows behind him, and he prayed over him. We thought the bier was placed right before him.

حدثه أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن أخاكم النجاشي توفي فصلوا عليه قال فصف رسول الله ﷺ وصففنا خلفه فصلى عليه وما نحسب الجنازة إلا موضوعة بين يديه
