The Prophet ﷺ was on a journey and slept past the time of the dawn prayer until the sun had risen. When he woke, he ordered that the call to prayer be made. He then prayed two units, waited until the sun had risen higher, then ordered the call to be made again, stood, and led the prayer.
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني أبي حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عطاء أخبرنا يونس عن الحسن
أن النبي ﷺ كان في سفر فنام عن الصبح حتى طلعت الشمس فاستيقظ فأمر فأذن ثم صلى ركعتين ثم انتظر حتى استقلت ثم أمر فقام فصلى
