The Prophet ﷺ said, "These two are equal, the little finger and the thumb."
حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة حدثنا قتادة عن عكرمة
عن النبي ﷺ قال هذه وهذه سواء الخنصر والإبهام
Its chain of transmission is sahih. He means that the little finger and the thumb are equal in the blood money. The hadith was narrated by the whole group except Muslim, as in Muntaqa 3974. See also 2621.
