The family of Muhammad ﷺ never ate their fill of wheat bread with any side dish until he ﷺ passed away.Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "My father, may Allah have mercy on him, had crossed out this hadith in his book, so I asked him about it, and he narrated it to me and wrote 'sahih, sahih' over it."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, "My father only crossed out this hadith because he was not satisfied with the man from whom Yazid narrated it."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني أبي حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا رجل والرجل كان يسمى في كتاب أبي عبد الرحمن عمرو بن عبيد قال ثنا أبو رجاء العطاردي
ما شبع آل محمد ﷺ من خبز بر مأدوم حتى مضى لوجهه ﷺ قال أبو عبد الرحمن وكان أبي رحمه الله قد ضرب على هذا الحديث في كتابه فسألته فحدثني به وكتب عليه صح صح قال أبو عبد الرحمن إنما ضرب أبي على هذا الحديث لأنه لم يرض الرجل الذي حدث عنه يزيد
