Imran bin Husayn reported,

A woman from Juhayna came to the Prophet ﷺ while pregnant from adultery and said, "Messenger of Allah, I have incurred a prescribed punishment, so carry it out on me."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called her guardian and said, "Treat her well, and when she gives birth, bring her to me." He did so.The Prophet ﷺ then gave the order, and her clothes were tied securely around her. He commanded that she be stoned, and she was stoned. Then he prayed over her.Umar said to him, "Are you praying over her when you have just stoned her?"He replied, "She has made such a sincere repentance that, if it were divided among seventy of the people of Madinah, it would suffice them all. Have you found anything better than that she gave up her very life for the sake of Allah ?"

عن عمران بن حصين

أن امرأة من جهينة أتت النبي ﷺ وهي حبلى من زنا فقالت يا رسول الله أصبت حدا فأقمه علي فدعا رسول الله ﷺ وليها فقال أحسن إليها فإذا وضعت حملها فأتني بها ففعل فأمر بها فشكت عليها ثيابها ثم أمر بها فرجمت ثم صلى عليها فقال له عمر رضي الله تعالى عنه تصلي عليها وقد رجمتها فقال لقد تابت توبة لو قسمت بين سبعين من أهل المدينة لوسعتهم وهل وجدت أفضل من أن جادت بنفسها لله عز وجل
