The Prophet ﷺ said, "Modesty is good in its entirety."A man from the tribe said, "It is said in wisdom that part of it is dignity for the sake of Allah, and part of it is weakness."Imran said to him, "I am narrating to you from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and you are quoting to me from scrolls?"

عن النبي ﷺ قال الحياء خير كله فقال رجل من الحي إنه يقال في الحكمة إن منه وقارا لله وإن منه ضعفا فقال له عمران أحدثك عن رسول الله ﷺ وتحدثني عن الصحف
Its isnad is sahih. Khalid bin Rabah Abu Fadl Hudhali was deemed trustworthy by Bukhari, Ibn Hibban, and others. The hadith has previously appeared at 19703.
