The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never delivered a sermon to us without commanding us to give charity and forbidding us from mutilation.

ما خطبنا رسول الله ﷺ خطبة إلا أمرنا بالصدقة ونهانا عن المثلة
Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muhajir Shuaythi's hadith is trusted by the four (Sunan compilers), and this has already appeared at 19744.
