Mutarrif bin Abdullah reported,

Imran bin Husayn sent for me during his illness, so I came to him. He said to me, "I used to tell you certain hadiths, hoping that Allah would benefit you by them after I am gone. Know that I used to be greeted with greetings of peace, so if I live, keep this concealed about me, and if I die, then narrate it if you wish.And know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined Hajj and Umrah together. No verse of the Book was revealed forbidding it, nor did the Prophet ﷺ prohibit it. A man said about it whatever he wished from his own opinion."

عن مطرف بن عبد الله قال

بعث إلي عمران بن حصين في مرضه فأتيته فقال لي إني كنت أحدثك بأحاديث لعل الله تبارك وتعالى ينفعك بها بعدي واعلم أنه كان يسلم علي فإن عشت فاكتم علي وإن مت فحدث إن شئت واعلم أن رسول الله ﷺ قد جمع بين حجة وعمرة ثم لم ينزل فيها كتاب ولم ينه عنها النبي ﷺ قال رجل فيها برأيه ما شاء
