Mutrafa reported,

Imran bin Husayn said to me, "Let me tell you a hadith through which Allah may benefit you. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined Hajj and Umrah together, and he did not forbid this until he died, nor was any Quranic verse revealed prohibiting it. The angels used to greet me with salam, but when I had myself cauterized, that greeting ceased. When I gave up cauterization, it returned to me."

قال لي عمران بن حصين إني أحدثك حديثا عسى الله عز وجل أن ينفعك به إن رسول الله ﷺ قد جمع بين حج وعمرة ثم لم ينه عنه حتى مات ولم ينزل قرآن فيه يحرمه وإنه كان يسلم علي فلما اكتويت أمسك عني فلما تركته عاد إلي
