The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by one of the gardens of Madinah and heard the voices of two people being punished in their graves. He mentioned this and said, "Until they dry out," or, "for as long as they do not dry out."
This is a repetition of the previous hadith, but Mansur transmitted it from Mujahid directly from Ibn Abbas.Tirmidhi said after narrating the previous hadith, "Mansur narrated this hadith from Mujahid from Ibn Abbas, without mentioning Tawus in it, but the narration of Amash is more sahih." He said, "I heard Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Aban Balkhi, the scribe of Waki, say, 'I heard Waki say, "Amash has a better memory of the isnad of Ibrahim than Mansur."'"
