When Abu Musa Ashari grew gravely ill, his wife cried out. He said to her, "Don't you know what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said?"She replied, "Yes," and then fell silent.After he died, she was asked, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say?"She replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed anyone who shaves her head, tears her clothes, or wails loudly in grief."

لما ثقل أبو موسى الأشعري صاحت امرأته فقال لها أما علمت ما قال رسول الله ﷺ قالت بلى ثم سكتت فلما مات قيل لها أي شيء قال رسول الله ﷺ قالت قال إن رسول الله ﷺ لعن من حلق أو خرق أو سلق
Its isnad is sahih. Sahm bin Minjab Dabbi is trustworthy, his hadith is in Muslim, and Qurthu Dabbi is likewise so, though Ahmad did not identify his lineage. The hadith has already appeared at 19507.
