Abu Musa Ashari reported,

The believer to another believer is like a building whose parts strengthen one another. The example of a righteous companion is like that of a perfume seller. If he does not give you any of his perfume, you will still catch its fragrance. And the example of a bad companion is like that of a blacksmith's bellows. If its sparks do not burn you, you will still be touched by its smoke. The trustworthy treasurer who hands over what he has been ordered to give, doing so willingly and seeking reward, is one of the two givers of charity.
