Hittan bin Abdullah reported,

Abu Musa said, "I said to a companion of mine, 'Come, let us devote this day of ours to Allah .'"It was as though we were present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, for he said, "And among them is one who says, 'Come, let us devote this day of ours to Allah .'"He kept repeating it until I wished I could sink into the earth.

حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة أخبرنا ثابت عمن سمع

حطان بن عبد الله الرقاشي قال

قال أبو موسى قلت لصاحب لي تعال فلنجعل يومنا هذا لله عز وجل فلكأنما شهدنا رسول الله ﷺ فقال ومنهم من يقول تعال فلنجعل يومنا هذا لله عز وجل فما زال يرددها حتى تمنيت أن أسيخ في الأرض
