Amr bin Abasa reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever shoots an arrow in the path of Allah , whether it reaches its mark or misses, has the reward of freeing a slave from the descendants of Ismail. Whoever turns gray with even a single white hair in the path of Allah, that gray hair will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection. Any Muslim man who frees a Muslim man, every limb of the freed man will ransom a limb of the one who freed him from the Fire. Any Muslim woman who frees a Muslim woman, every limb of the freed woman will ransom a limb of the one who freed her from the Fire. Any Muslim man who sends ahead to Allah three of his own children who have not reached the age of accountability, or a wife, they will be a shield for him from the Fire. Any man who stands to perform ablution intending prayer, and completes the ablution properly over its prescribed places, will be cleansed of every sin or wrongdoing he has committed. If he then proceeds to pray, Allah raises him a degree by it, and if he sits, he sits free of sin."Shurahbil bin Simt asked, "Did you really hear this hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Ibn Absah?"He replied, "Yes. By the One besides whom there is no god, had I not heard this hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more than once, or twice, or three, four, five, six, or seven times," and he stopped at seven, "I would not have sworn to it, meaning I would have hesitated to relate it to anyone. But by Allah, I cannot count how many times I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

عمرو بن عبسة

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول أيما رجل رمى بسهم في سبيل الله عز وجل فبلغ مخطئا أو مصيبا فله من الأجر كرقبة يعتقها من ولد إسماعيل وأيما رجل شاب شيبة في سبيل الله فهي له نور وأيما رجل مسلم أعتق رجلا مسلما فكل عضو من المعتق بعضو من المعتق فداء له من النار وأيما امرأة مسلمة أعتقت امرأة مسلمة فكل عضو من المعتقة بعضو من المعتقة فداء لها من النار وأيما رجل مسلم قدم لله عز وجل من صلبه ثلاثة لم يبلغوا الحنث أو امرأة فهم له سترة من النار وأيما رجل قام إلى وضوء يريد الصلاة فأحصى الوضوء إلى أماكنه سلم من كل ذنب أو خطيئة له فإن قام إلى الصلاة رفعه الله عز وجل بها درجة وإن قعد قعد سالما فقال شرحبيل بن السمط آنت سمعت هذا الحديث من رسول الله ﷺ يا ابن عبسة قال نعم والذي لا إله إلا هو لو أني لم أسمع هذا الحديث من رسول الله ﷺ غير مرة أو مرتين أو ثلاث أو أربع أو خمس أو ست أو سبع فانتهى عند سبع ما حلفت يعني ما باليت أن لا أحدث به أحدا من الناس ولكني والله ما أدري عدد ما سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ
