The Prophet of Allah ﷺ did not forbid the lizard, but he found it distasteful.Someone other than Muhammad reported it from Sulayman al-Yashkuri.
Its isnad is daif because of a break in the chain, for Qatada did not hear from Sulayman bin Qays Yashkuri, as Bukhari and Yahya bin Main both affirmed. Saeed here is Ibn Abu Aruba.Regarding the fact that the dabb (lizard) was not forbidden, there are two other hadiths narrated by Abu Zubayr from Jabir from Umar in Sahih Muslim 2/115.
