Urwa bin Abu Jaad Bariqi was residing among us, and Abu Labeed Lamaza bin Zabbar narrated from Urwa bin Abu Jaad, who said:Some livestock was brought before the Prophet ﷺ, and he gave me a dinar and said, "Urwa, go to the livestock and buy us a sheep."So I went to the livestock and bargained with the seller, and I bought two sheep from him for a dinar. Then I came along driving them, or he said leading them, when a man met me and bargained with me, so I sold him one sheep for a dinar. I came back with the dinar and with the sheep and said, "Messenger of Allah, here is your dinar and here is your sheep."He asked, "And how did you manage that?"So I told him the story, and he said, "O Allah, bless him in the dealings of his right hand."Indeed, I would later stand at the Kunasa of Kufa and earn forty thousand in profit before returning home to my family.He used to buy slave girls and sell them.

كان عروة بن أبي الجعد البارقي نازلا بين أظهرنا فحدث عنه أبو لبيد لمازة بن زبار عن عروة بن أبي الجعد قال عرض للنبي ﷺ جلب فأعطاني دينارا فقال أي عروة ائت الجلب فاشتر لنا شاة قال فأتيت الجلب فساومت صاحبه فاشتريت منه شاتين بدينار فجئت أسوقهما أو قال أقودهما فلقيني رجل فساومني فأبيعه شاة بدينار فجئت بالدينار وجئت بالشاة فقلت يا رسول الله هذا ديناركم وهذه شاتكم قال وصنعت كيف فحدثته الحديث فقال اللهم بارك له في صفقة يمينه فلقد رأيتني أقف بكناسة الكوفة فأربح أربعين ألفا قبل أن أصل إلى أهلي وكان يشتري الجواري ويبيع
