Saeed bin Jubayr reported,

Ibn Abbas said, "Thursday, and what a Thursday!" Then he wept until his tears moistened the pebbles. On another occasion, he said his tears flowed onto the pebbles. We asked, "Abu Abbas, what about Thursday?"He said, "The Messenger of Allah's ﷺ illness grew severe, and he said, 'Bring me writing materials so I may write for you a document after which you will never go astray.' But they began to dispute, and disputing is not fitting in the presence of a prophet. They said, 'What is the matter with him? Has he become delirious?'" Sufyan said, meaning he was speaking incoherently. "They said, 'Ask him to clarify.' So they went back to question him again, but he said, 'Leave me. The state I am in is better than what you are calling me to.' Then he commanded three things." Sufyan once said, "He gave instructions concerning three things." He said, "Expel the polytheists from the Arabian Peninsula, and grant gifts to delegations as I used to grant them."Saeed remained silent about the third instruction, so I do not know whether he kept silent about it deliberately, and on another occasion he said, "or he forgot it." Sufyan once said, "Either he left it out or forgot it."
