One of Anas's children died, so Zayd bin Arqam wrote to him saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the Ansar, the children of the Ansar, and the children of the children of the Ansar."

مات لأنس ولد فكتب إليه زيد بن أرقم أن رسول الله ﷺ قال اللهم اغفر للأنصار ولأبناء الأنصار ولأبناء أبناء الأنصار
