Abu Salman Muezin reported,

Abu Sariha died, and Zayd bin Arqam led the funeral prayer over him, saying four takbirs. He then said, "This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do."

حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا شريك عن عثمان بن أبي زرعة

عن أبي سلمان المؤذن قال

توفي أبو سريحة فصلى عليه زيد بن أرقم فكبر عليه أربعا وقال كذا فعل رسول الله ﷺ
