Nadr bin Anas bin Malik reported,

Zayd bin Arqam wrote to Anas bin Malik during the time of the Battle of Harrah, offering condolences for those of his children and people who had been killed. He said, "I give you good news from Allah . I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'O Allah, forgive the Ansar, the sons of the Ansar, and the sons of the sons of the Ansar. Forgive the women of the Ansar, the women of the sons of the Ansar, and the women of the sons of the sons of the Ansar.'"

أن زيد بن أرقم كتب إلى أنس بن مالك زمن الحرة يعزيه فيمن قتل من ولده وقومه وقال أبشرك ببشرى من الله عز وجل سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول اللهم اغفر للأنصار ولأبناء الأنصار ولأبناء أبناء الأنصار واغفر لنساء الأنصار ولنساء أبناء الأنصار ولنساء أبناء أبناء الأنصار
