The Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed them to treat pleurisy with Indian aloeswood and olive oil.

Its isnad is daif, because of Maymun. But the hadith is sahih, for treating with Indian costus (al-ud al-hindi) through nasal drops for pleurisy was narrated by Bukhari 10/148, no. 5692 (Fath), and the hadiths after it, and Muslim 4/1735, no. 2214, and Abu Dawud 4/8, no. 3877, and Tirmidhi 4/407, no. 2078, who said it is hasan sahih, and Ibn Majah 2/1148, no. 3467, from Zayd, while the rest are from Umm Qays bint Mihsan.
