Its isnad is sahih, according to the correction mentioned in al-Tajil, and the correct version is like the one we mentioned in 19115. Muslim narrated the hadith in 4/2003, no. 2592, in the Book of Righteousness, chapter on the merit of gentleness, and Abu Dawud in 4/255, no. 4809, in the Book of Manners, chapter on gentleness.
