He urinated, then performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks, and then prayed. When he was asked about this, he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do the same."He said, "They used to find this hadith especially appealing because Jareer was among the last to embrace Islam."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان عن إبراهيم عن همام بن الحارث
أنه بال قال ثم توضأ ومسح على خفيه فصلى وسئل عن ذلك فقال رأيت رسول الله ﷺ صنع مثل هذا قال وكان يعجبهم هذا الحديث من أجل أن جريرا كان من آخر من أسلم
