Jareer reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no people among whom acts of disobedience are committed, while those present are stronger and more capable of stopping it but fail to do so, except that Allah will strike them all with a punishment from Him."

حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا شريك بن عبد الله عن أبي إسحاق

عن المنذر بن جرير عن أبيه قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من قوم يكون بين أظهرهم من يعمل بالمعاصي هم أعز منه وأمنع لم يغيروا عليه إلا أصابهم الله عز وجل منه بعقاب
