Jareer bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No servant establishes a good practice that is followed after him except that he receives a reward equal to the reward of those who act upon it, without diminishing their rewards in the slightest. And no servant establishes an evil practice that is followed after him except that he bears its burden and the burden of those who act upon it, without diminishing their burdens in the slightest."

حدثنا يحيى عن محمد بن أبي إسماعيل حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن هلال العبسي قال قال

جرير بن عبد الله قال

رسول الله ﷺ لا يسن عبد سنة صالحة يعمل بها من بعده إلا كان له مثل أجر من عمل بها لا ينقص من أجورهم شيء ولا يسن عبد سنة سوء يعمل بها من بعده إلا كان عليه وزرها ووزر من عمل بها لا ينقص من أوزارهم شيء
