Jareer bin Abdullah urinated, then performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks. Someone said to him, "You do this after having urinated?"He replied, "Yes. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ urinate, then perform ablution and wipe over his leather socks."Ibrahim said, "They used to be pleased with this hadith, because Jareer's acceptance of Islam came after the revelation of Surah al-Maidah."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن إبراهيم
بال جرير بن عبد الله ثم توضأ ومسح على خفيه فقيل له تفعل هذا وقد بلت قال نعم رأيت رسول الله ﷺ بال ثم توضأ ومسح على خفيه قال إبراهيم فكان يعجبهم هذا الحديث لأن إسلام جرير كان بعد نزول المائدة
