The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My nation will remain holding firmly to goodness so long as they do not do three things. So long as they do not delay the sunset prayer waiting for darkness to fall, imitating the Jews. So long as they do not delay the dawn prayer until the stars fade away, imitating the Christians. And so long as they do not leave the funerals to be handled solely by the family of the deceased."
