He went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on one of his military campaigns, and Khalid bin Walid was in command of the advance guard. Rabah and the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came upon the body of a woman who had been killed by the advance guard. They stopped and stood looking at her, marveling at her build, until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ caught up with them on his mount. They parted to make way for him, and he halted over her and said, "This woman was in no position to fight."Then he said to one of them, "Catch up with Khalid and tell him, do not kill children, and do not kill hired laborers."
