I performed the Farewell Pilgrimage riding behind my uncle Sinan bin Sana. When we stopped at Arafat, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placing one of his fingers on top of the other.I asked my uncle, "What is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying?"He replied, "He is saying, 'Throw at the Jamrah with pebbles the size of those flicked between the fingers.'"
