Rifa bin Rafi reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered Quraysh together and asked, "Is there anyone among you who is not from you?"They replied, "No, except for the son of our sister, our ally, and our freed slave."He said, "The son of your sister is from you, your ally is from you, and your freed slave is from you. Quraysh are people of truthfulness and trust, so whoever wishes calamities upon them, Allah will cast him into the Fire on his face."

حدثنا وكيع حدثنا سفيان عن ابن خثيم

عن إسماعيل بن عبيد بن رفاعة عن أبيه عن جده قال

جمع رسول الله ﷺ قريشا فقال هل فيكم من غيركم قالوا لا إلا ابن أختنا وحليفنا ومولانا فقال ابن أختكم منكم وحليفكم منكم ومولاكم منكم إن قريشا أهل صدق وأمانة فمن بغى لها العوائر أكبه الله في النار لوجهه
