Mihjan Deeli reported,

I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in the mosque. The time for prayer arrived, so he prayed.He said to me, "Did you not pray?"I said, "Messenger of Allah, I had already prayed at my lodging, then I came to you."He said, "If you do that, pray with them and make it a voluntary prayer."Ubayy said, Abu Naeem and Abdul-Rahman did not say, "and make it a voluntary prayer."

حدثنا وكيع حدثنا سفيان عن زيد بن أسلم قال سفيان مرة عن بسر أو بسر بن محجن ثم كان يقول بعد

عن أبي محجن الديلي عن أبيه قال

أتيت النبي ﷺ وهو في المسجد فحضرت الصلاة فصلى فقال لي ألا صليت قال قلت يا رسول الله قد صليت في الرحل ثم أتيتك قال فإذا فعلت فصل معهم واجعلها نافلة قال أبي ولم يقل أبو نعيم ولا عبد الرحمن واجعلها نافلة
