Jabir said, I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition when a group of people came to him from the direction of the west, wearing woolen garments. They met him at a small hill, standing while he was seated. I came up and stood between them and him, and I memorized four statements from him, counting them on my hand.He said, "You will fight the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant you victory over it. Then you will fight Persia and Allah will grant you victory over it. Then you will fight the Romans and Allah will grant you victory over them. Then you will fight Dajjal and Allah will grant you victory over him."Nafi said, "Jabir, do you not see that Dajjal will not emerge until the Romans are conquered?"

كنت مع رسول الله ﷺ في غزاة فأتاه قوم من قبل المغرب عليهم ثياب الصوف فوافقوه عند أكمة وهم قيام وهو قاعد فأتيته فقمت بينهم وبينه فحفظت منه أربع كلمات أعدهن في يدي قال تغزون جزيرة العرب فيفتحها الله ثم تغزون فارس فيفتحها الله ثم تغزون الروم فيفتحها الله ثم تغزون الدجال فيفتحه الله قال نافع يا جابر ألا ترى أن الدجال لا يخرج حتى تفتح الروم
